History :

The NYÍRSÉG-HÍD Training Centre Nonprofit Ltd. is operating the Apáczai Csere János Training
Centre, which started its operation in 2007 as a multi-purpose public educational institution. The
institution’s scope is regional with approximately 500 students. The Training Centre offers a wide
range of courses mostly for students of age 14-23 and also in adult education including different
professions like social worker, hairdresser, beautician, waiter, cook, bricklayer,electrician,carpenter
and welder. We also offer the practical training places for apprentices/trainees. The school is
situated in one of the most disadvantageous area in Hungary, where we have a lot of
disadvantaged students from the minority group of Roma people (almost 50 %). For these
students we organize special „catch-up” courses to be able get into the vocational education. We
have to pay special attention on their integration.
The aim of the school is to provide a high standard education for the students with high-qualified
experienced teachers/ trainers.
In the school’s philosophy it is important, that beside our carrier guidance activity the students
take active part in forming their futures by taking responsible decisions together with parents and
teachers.
