The current historical period is characterised by rapid technological changes that require new skills and competencies to understand the new work-form. It's important to support SMEs to face these changes.

According to this necessities Consorzio Lavoro e Ambiente realised two national projects that aimed to prepare learners to acquire the competencies and qualifications for being able to work responsibly and independently:

• Next Century: teleworking with good privacy: the project includes a research about the advantages of teleworking and its opportunities.

• Teleworking with Internet: This project aims to spread teleworking in all its aspects and advantages such as best working conditions, efficient working organisation and individual working time.
